Hi all
I made my final payment at the start of April and called to chase up my discharge. I've been told its coming in the post this week so wanted to ask about the AIB website and trust deed showing active in mm credit report. Do I need to update the credit reference agencies or will this happen automatically. Will this update now or not until trustee has completed all their stuff. Anyone that's done this have any advice for repairing credit file?

Hi ged55. Congratulations on getting to the end!
Your credit report should be updated automatically, as the AIB provide updates to the relevant parties. Your discharge should be shown on your report soon after it has been recorded on the Register of Insolvencies, which is soon after you receive your "Form 5" document. I assume this is what is in the post for you.
Your credit report will however likely still reflect the fact that you were in a trust Deed and that you had debts which were defaulted for a bit longer. This is because it shows everything that has happened for the last 6 years.
