I'm back again! My partner has offered to pay my trust deed off early for me and I wondered if this was possible. I missed a few payments due to unemployment which means my trust deed will run an extra 10 months more that it should have. I am now pregnant and want this out the way before our baby comes along. Can you advise?

Thanks

Hi Lorryjo1983,

Yes it is possible to do this, as long as the funds come from a third party. I would suggest that your partner writes to your Trustee offering to make good the misssed contributions and, indeed, any future contributions which may require to be made.

On the basis that your partner is in a position to do this and all other assets have been dealt with, there is no reason why your Trustee couldn't begin to finalise your Trust Deed following reciepit of the missed payments.

I hope you find this useful.
