Hi there,
Can you still enter a trust deed when working part time. The reason for this is i was going to be made redundant but i have managed to secure part time work here instead of getting the chop
As im on decent salary 25k, the pro rata would mean ?รบ800 per month now. As there very little jobs in my line of expertise, i wud have ended up having to work full time in a call centre and onl be on 1k a month anywy.
Due to the part time work, i have moved back in with my parents and not paying that much rent and stuff.
Will a trust deed be ok stil for me
ALso once i secure full time work, will they question the fact that my monthly payment will only go up to 250ish (if i manage to return full time work) from 200ish which i can afford to pay right now due to very little outgoings in the family home.
Ta
Hello Tony,
There is no reason in principle why you should not enter into a Scottish Trust Deed because you are working part-time. What is more important is that you feel confident that you will be able to pay a sum acceptable to your creditors for the duration of the arrangement.
My reading is that you would intend to move back out when you are working full-time again. If you decide to go ahead with a Trust Deed I'd suggest you run this by the company in advance though I really cannot see any problem with it.
If your income and expenditure were to change in this way a review of the Trust Deed would normally done. If this results in an increase in your payments, even a small one, this is obviously in the interests of your creditors.
