I need help -

Firstly what is a p11d?

I have just received this from my employer for a loan which is now included in my protected trust deed - how will this work as I no longer pay the loan.

Thanks

Hi Ali

Form P11d is a form submitted to HMRC which details expenses and any benefits received by employees in each financial year.

Hi ali212006.

A P11D is a form that an employer has to produce about benefits that you have received as part of your employment that might be taxable.

A low-interest loan from an employer may fall into that bracket.

I'm afraid that I have no idea about the tax status of this loan given that you've gone into a trust deed. You may want to call one of the HMRC helplines to enquire.
