I've actually got no way of checking Mark.

I think it's safe to assume that this thread is right up there in terms of the Trust-Deed.co.uk bestseller list!

23,140 is way beyond what I would have expected for any post on the forum.

Sits twiddling thumbs!

Well here we are, three weeks after my trustee said he was dropping his appeal against the A in B audit determination, and saying he was proceeding to finish the deed. Guess what. I have still heard nothing from him.

I have heard from the IPA who are now opening a complaint investigation against him. I hope they have the teeth to deal with him. Not just for myself but for all the other clients he has who seem to be held in protracted trust deeds.

I wonder if some of the experts can guess at an interesting consequence of my trust deed lasting for such a long period?

Its something that everyone struggles with at the end. The dreaded credit score. Well out of interest I checked mine on experian and. . . .

Despite still being in a trust deed and my creditors having still received nothing there is no sign of my trust deed or any defaulted accounts. They all dropped off over two years ago!

My credit score is GOOD!

silver linings!
Glad you still have humour and a sense of perspective, both will have been sorely tested.

Hi all,

Well it may be coming to an end at last!

A couple of questions though.

My trustee has called a final meeting for the creditors at his office for the 4th of June to seek discharge from creditors. Is this normal?

I don't know if I am being paranoid or not but it mentions that there is sufficient funds to pay the creditors 100 p/£ but makes no mention of any reversion back to myself or indeed of statutory interest for the creditors. Given the circumstances is this something I need to worry about? Having agreed the offer of composition with the creditors for them to not receive the statutory interest could he now go back on that agreement and leave me with nothing?

As expected he has added fees on for the time while he has been " thinking " about appealing the A in B determination. £831 to be precise. Together with the £2000 plus he charged while waiting for the A in B to reduce his fees by 25% ( £6000 ) it means that basically he has clawed back half of what the A in B said he had overcharged, simply by waiting and doing nothing.

I know that I could ask for the extra fees to be audited again but am not sure its really worth it because let's face it if I do that he will once again delay things and charge for it!

The IPA have said they cannot investigate the level of fees he has charged as there is already official channels to do this ie the Accountant in Bankruptcy. Seeing as all the trustee has to do to get fees back that the A in B decided were unfair is to simply wait, delay and actually do nothing this feels neither fair or just!
All the IPA are investigating is the reasons he has taken so long to forward the deed.

Still feeling badly let down and distrustful of him.
