Hey
Just checking in. We made our 12th payment for our Trust Deed last week and are now at the 1/3 mark.
I has been an eventful year and has passed amazingly quick (apart from the 1st 5 weeks waiting for the TD to become protected).
The PTD has been one of the best decisions we made and because of it an end to our debt problems is now in sight (24 months and counting). Our biggest regret is not getting help and admitting to our problems sooner.

Really glad it's working out for you.
If set up and run properly, it should allow you to look forward and start planning things again. There was an earlier post about trust deeds giving people back control of their finances/lives and that's exactly how it should be.

Hi Poorboy,
I am at the same stage as you and can't believe how quickly 12 months have gone! So glad I went through with it. I still read the forum on a regular basis. Now looking forward to the half way mark. It hasn't been easy but you soon learn to do without.

Getting the first year out of the way must feel like a significant landmark has been reached. I hope that the second year passes as quickly for both of you.
