On advise of my TD company I cancelled my Direct debits and changed banks, but I couldnt cancel my old account due to the overdraft.

I got a txt statement through this morning and LLoyds have taken out the loan payment (also Lloyds) from the account putting it into an unathorised overdraft

Should I contact the bank or leave it?

Hi newsm.

Assuming both accounts are in your trust deed this is a non-issue.

Lloyds are basically just moving their own money around the accounts.

Hi newsm

This is fairly common. Once the bank are aware of the Trust Deed they will calculate the extent of any debt back to the date of signing and submit a claim for that amount.
