Welcome to the forum beanie1.

Your credit rating is an individual thing so it will not be affected so long as you have no joint debts in the trust deed that aren't paid as normal.

Do you have a joint current account or mortgage or anything similar?

Hi beanie1.

Marrying shouldn't make any difference at all in itself and will not tie you to anything (apart from your husband of course!).

Good ending TDA!
Being married will have no impact on you if there are no joint debts or bank accounts. The debt is still your partner's and you cannot be held liable in any way.

That's my conclusion-Joint finances are generally not a good idea.
