I think we have to be very realistic right from the start. If there is no way of realising equity, then maybe a Trust Deed is not the right solution. Then again, maybe it is, but someone has to know the possibilty of losing their home. I always feel if you have to lose it, then do it know. Don't pay for 3 years and then go through more turmoil in 3 years. Poeple sometimes give up their homes, simply because they can't manage their mortgage payments, nothing to do with equity.
This may sound all doom and gloom, but in most cases solutions can be found, so people shouldn't write off Trust Deeds until they have all the facts first.
