Hi- I am due to make my last payment to trust deed in 2 months - I just wondered what process is at end - do I do the usual income/ expenditure and send it in as I would normally do or is this not done at end if all payments are up to date?
Do I cancel debit or wait until I'm told to
Will my trustee contact me at end or do I make contact
Is TD finished on date you made payment or date it was protected
My payments have all been made up to date and I have no house or assets
Just wondering what to expect in last few weeks
Thanks Guys x

Welcome to the forum Betty boo.

The way it's brought to an end seems to vary quite a bit from firm to firm, so I'd check with your trustee.

The trust deed, as far as you're concerned, ends when your trustee registers your discharge with the Accountant in Bankruptcy.

Hi Betty boo

Probably best if you contact your trustee and check to see if you can cancel your payment mandate.

Most of the times, payments will come off automatically and end up in an overpayment position.
