Hi

I have applied for a nationwide cash card account. Prior to signing a trust deed with Mark. There is only one branch in my area and they have to post this application away down south to be opened. I applied origionally 3 weeks ago and omitted one piece of information. So had to re-apply, which I did
last Monday. Now over a week and a half later and have had no response yet.

So a month later and my finances have been awful this month.
Just wondering why it has taken so long.

Thanks

Hi ann910.

Sorry to hear of this delay.

Is there a number you can chase them on for an update on the status?

Hi TDA

I will look. I was disappointed that I had to reapply when they
only required a date of when I started working with my current
employer. But apparently they destroy your application if they do
not have all of the information.

I handed a new form into the branch to post this time.
I will try to contact them. It just seems an awful long time to wait.
Hope their other services arent the same

Hi ann910

Nationwide are usually pretty good. Hopefully, it was a temporary blip.

Hi ann910
I'm coming up to the half way point with my TD and have an account with Nationwide. I've been very happy with their service and had no problems but it did take a while to get started as it was done by post. For someone considering a trust deed it's worth getting a new bank account straight away.

I opened a Nationwide cashcard account in the last couple of weeks. I applied in the branch and they sent it away. It took 7 days for me to get my new card through. The guy in Nationwide did say it could take a couple of weeks though.[:)]

Hi

Thanks for all of your replies.

It looks like it is opened, just waiting for card and
account details now.
