Hi guys haven't been on this for a good while but just want to share my experience with a PTD.
Was signed 21st September 2011 and completed 3 years later then discharged 28th January 2015.My debt was nearly ยฃ20,000 which i was never going to be able to pay off in full (I always learn the hard way!)so i looked at a trust deed.
I thought that it was to good to be true when an expert explained it to me so i immediately went for it as i knew at the end of it life would be 100% better.
I never missed a monthly payment and always sent back any paperwork the trustee asked for promptly as was just wanting it over with as soon as.
Anyway, on Saturday i recieved a DIP for 90% mortgage with TSB as all trace of trust deed and defaulted accounts had fell off my credit files.
If i had never started my PTD i still would have been paying off my never ending debt so it worked for me and hopefully it can work for others.

PS:I took alot of info and hope ftom this forum when i started out and cant thank the people who run it enough for their dedication #128077;
