Hi Gemma.
Accessing mortgage lending after a trust deed is covered further at:
Thanks ๐
Gemma
Am I right in saying that as soon as the 6 years passes nobody will know you ever had a trust deed or can lenders still find out about it.
Some lenders can keep records for longer so say you default against a loan with TSB which then gets included in a trust deed if you applied for a mortgage 6 years later their own records may cause you to fail their credit checks.
Also lenders often ask if you have ever been bankrupt or in an arrangement with creditors. I suppose you could keep quiet if asked that one!!!

A new dawn.
Ok thanks for that information. I thought that after 6 years everything was wiped but I guess you are right about previous debtors having their own records.
