Hi All, this is my first post on the forum but I have visited it regularly over the last 6 years during my Trust Deed and have found it a great source of information. I’m looking for some advice if you can please. My wife and I singed our TDs on 10/08/15 and were discharged on the 16/06/19 so 2 weeks today they should fall off our credit reports….finally!!

We are at a stage where we would like to move house and have been saving and have a decent deposit. I contacted an independent mortgage advisor but didn’t get a good first impression so I’m looking for any recommendations for an advisor who perhaps some of you have used successfully and understands the situation we have been in.

Thanks

Welcome to the trust deed forum ML101.

We (the site) don't recommend any particular mortgage broker but our members are free to share the details of anyone they believe worthy of such a recommendation.

Now you're more than two years past your discharge there may well be some mortgage product options worth looking at. As you've already discovered however, some mortgage brokers aren't especially experienced and/or interested in this type of work.

Hi DBHA21,

No big deal, but we ask members not to post links on the forum so I have removed the link you added.

I've checked and the details you've added can easily be used to locate this individual via a Google search.

Hi TDA - apologies, hadn't thought about the link rule at time of posting 🙂
