Hello,
We currently rent our property through housing assoc and want to buy somewhere. If my husband were to get a mortgage in his name only, would it affect my trust deed I.E would trustee stake a claim in the house?

If its in husbands name pretty sure your trustee would have no inteest in it.

Being on a mortgage and being the owner of a property aren't necessarily the same thing.
If you do this during your trust deed you'll probably want to make sure that your husband is the sole owner.
