Hi, I have completed my Trust Deed after 3 1/2yrs and got my discharge letter in Jan 2015. I have opened a joint bank account with my sister as my father has given us inheritance money. The bank that we have used is one that was part of my Trust Deed, my question is can they take any of this money.

Many thanks

Sweetcaroline

Hi sweetcaroline

No, the bank would have no right to off set any money against the previous debt.

No problem.

Fortunately any rights a trustee may have finish with your discharge.
