The small print is the big point. Many of these policies wouldnt pay out as expected and would therefore be classed as missold.

I never had any problem with my mortgage one it paid out fine when i was off sick for a month or so i guess if i had any other ones and had tried to make a claim then i would have classed it as missold but trustees are actually looking for ppi on credit cards which i knew i never took

If you didn't take it there will be nothing to claim fedup.
