through no fault of mine the bank failed to make my TD payment for June even though i had funds available. TD treating as a payment holiday. however i am late for july payment but will pay next week. should this be ok as i understand payment is relative to month rather than a specific date in the month

Hi johnnyc

The obligation is on you to check and ensure payments are met, not the Trustee.

I would be concerned in a case where a payment was missed, a solution was agreed and then the payment is missed again the following month.

Hi johnnyc,

Further to Mark's comments I would have thought, given that this has come down to a banking mishap, that the situation will be resolved when you make payment next week.

It would be best to double-check everything with the bank in advance of next month so that it doesn't crop up again (as I'm sure that you've already decided to do).

i have not missed july paument. i am paying it next week. a bit later than it is normally paid. its still julys payment so i assume it doesnt matter what date it is paid on as long as it is within the relavent month

Hi johnnyc,

I doubt that it will matter in this instance but that's really a question for your own Trustee.
