You can tell i have lots of questions? i hope you can help

I have until recently had the use of a company car, as i am now self employed and had no funds to purchase a vehicle (obviously) i have been very lucky and have access to a vehicle,
which i have offered to insure. Can i be sure by having access to the car but the registered keeper being someone else, the vehicle will not be included in any final stage of my trust deed? I dont want to tell my friend about my trust deed, she had kindly said i can use the car until i can 'afford' to either buy it or buy something... goodness only knows when that will be. My offering to insure it is the least i can do... will this be a problem?

Hi goshnearlythere

There was a similar post earlier. The V5, although in your friend's name does not confirm ownership of the vehicle and it may be that your Trustee will seek confirmation that your friend is and indeed has been the owner.

If this was not included at the start of the Trust Deed, then I really dont see it being an issue.

Thank you Mark for your speedy replies

I dont really want her involved and if it was likely it would be an issue i would feel even more
dreadful using the vehicle and then her being dragged into the Trust Deed near its completion.

I assume on my next (and last i hope financial review) i would just add the cost of the monthly insurance premiums as an outgoing

Hi goshnearlythere

I am sure it will be fine in the circumstances you describe.

On the next review, just advise of the position and the new insurance costs.
