Hi TDA,
That's what I thought, my trust deed was started middle of May 2011, and the first BOS default notice on my credit file is for the following month, June 2011, default notices are then shown every month up until my discharge June 2014. After contacting them with my form 5 they updated the account as being satisfied but left the default notices on the file??
I have a screen shot showing this with no personal details, is there any way of publishing it here on the forum?
Thanks
Hi Greggy.
A default notice has one single date.
An account being marked as being in default status each month is a little different.
It's the default notice date that's relevant - not monthly reporting.
Hi TDA,
Sorry to go on, just want to make sure I am looking at the correct details.
I have just looked through the details of my closed accounts on my noddle file and found the default date as being 13/06/11 which is 4 weeks after my trust deed started, is it worth contacting them again or will this fall of my file 4 weeks after my trust deed falls off.
Thanks for clearing this up...

I have asked for additional compensation, yes. They have now amended it to 9/11/2009 as date of default but are not disputing it should be 30/9/2009!
I will let you know how it turns out.
Right, they gave me an additional £150 and told me the default would be removed.
Checked Experian this morning. They have removed the default alright but are showing the account as live and me owing them £3,000. Have gone back to them again to point out I don't owe them anything. For something so simple, they are really making it exceptionally difficult!!
Feel like I'm playing Bank of Scotland Whack A Mole!
If they don't resolve it before 23 November, then yes!
I get the feeling that they are going to turn round and say the balance is owed - which should be a laugh.
I just hope other posters take note to request compensation in these circumstances. It's there for the taking.
