Wee question here. I started my PTD with RSM Tenon in January of this year. I started a new job and I'm 4 weeks in it. Things aren't going so well and I'm going to jump before I'm pushed. I asked my old employer if there was a job to go back to and they said not at present.

How does this affect my trust deed if I'm not working? Any ideas

Cheers
Paul

Changing jobs is a fairly stressful time Paisley1. It takes time to settle in and adjust to a new employer and culture. I don't know your circumstances and if they are drastically bad, then you may have no alternative than to leave, however, it is only 4 weeks into the job. They may not have any plans to 'push' you. Is it possible for you to change how things are going, changing the way you are thinking and look at the positives of being employed and employed there. Could you stay there until you find something else more suitable; and in the meantime you may find it settles down? As I said, I don't know all your circumstances, but I do know it can take a few months to settle into a new position and how we view the change does make a difference.

I hope you find the right solution for you.

Hi Paisley1.

If you do find yourself out of work for a period make sure your trust deed firm are aware from the start.

I'm sure they'll give you a little time and space to get things back to normal again.
