Hi everyone,
In need of so massive help as I have had a disastrous time from start to finish with KMPG.
I just made the last of my 36 monthly contributions, KPMG collected my old car and told that would be everything finalised. I was then was told that the PPI issue would prolong my release form, which I kicked up about and just sent a letter to BLAIR NIMMO.
I then had assistant manager contact me to advise there was still a shortfall f +ยฃ500 and my contributions ended in July and I am absolutely flabbergasted that this company can make so many errors.
I moved address throughout my Trust Deed, advised KPMG of this but no action was taken by there part and they issued letters to my old address.
I have had a catalogue or errors, asked for transcripts of the calls made and then was told they do not record calls, which i think is very fly on there behalf.
All I want is my release but i am now being told there will be a delay due to shortfall in payments and the PPI.
Is there any regulator i can speak to as I need this escalated because i am now physically and mentally exhausted and just want to move on with my life, debt free.
I look foward to hearing from you all.
Kind Regards

Welcome to the trust deed forum Deadmau584.
I recognise that you will be disappointed to learn of a shortfall after you believed you had completed your contributions. Has the rationale been explained? Do you dispute that the money is owing?
All trust deed firms are being asked to look into PPI claims. However, the earlier they're started the less chance there is of discharge being delayed. I don't understand why it would be left so late but I haven't had the benefit of the perspective of the firm concerned.
Trust deeds signed after 2008 seem to allow the trustee to discharge their client while they remain in office to deal with the PPI claims; or at least this is what we've heard from the companies that we recommend and others that members have written about here. We have heard a different story from clients of your firm, but again we're not privy to the reason why their approach is different.
For any type of complaint about any trust deed firm the usual approach would be:
1 - Formally complain to your own trustee (addressed personally).
2 - Formally complain to their profesisonal regulatory body (for example, many are members of ICAS) if you are unhappy with the response to your first complaint.
It will not be what you want to hear, but I'm afraid I'm not aware of any requirement for a trustee to discharge their client from a trust deed while they look into PPI.
I also don't think it's uncommon for firms not to record all calls.
Yet another unhappy KPMG customer[:(!] Blair Nimmo is my trustee too. I have never met or even spoken to him. Although his name is on the letters, I'm pretty sure he doesnt write them and I doubt he reads the ones addressed to him. At my meeting with a member of the "assets team" and a member of the "contributions team" on Monday, it was pretty obvious that the girl from the assets team was the one writing to me - and she doesnt know the difference between a direct debit and a standing order![V]
Hi iv have history with these peps too, but if ur having probs don't waste time calling their office, cause they have a tendency not to return calls, when u eventually get thru, they don't log calls and content. So do wat i have done to get results:- email
(removed)@kpmg.co.uk
Outlining ur complaints & request time scales. You will get an answer, this will be passed to the office who is carrying out the work. Don't forget to copy Blair into all emails, to ensure all ur grievences get attended too.
Hi fizzy.
I've thought about this for a little while and have decided to edit the email address you added to your last post. I know you added it for good reasons and to help other people.
On balance I think we need to be careful when information relates specifically to an individual. It's really up to them and their employer whether their email address is put into the public domain. Putting it in a public forum also risks exposing them to a tidal wave of unpleasant spam in their inbox.
Personally given the problems people have with KPMG including issues of non returned calls, as a forum we should be helping those people out by getting them access to an email address. I am sure it is publicly available if you knew where to look!!

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
I am surprised if clients of KPMG don't have contact details including email addresses from paperwork signed with their trustee?
I also agree with plasticdaft though if they don't and are struggling to get answers it's not a personal email address being shared but one related to the appointment as trustee. Spam filters are likely to be in place?
Hi plasticdaft and RBSB.
You both make good points which I had considered. On balance it just doesn't quite sit right for me.
Any client of this firm (or any firm) has their trustee's name and address on paperwork that has been sent to them. The means for direct communication in writing have therefore been provided by the firm.
I'd like to think that any employee/employer should be the person to decide whether or not their email address gets put into the public domain. I know that doesn't happen on every forum, but on this forum we're going to err on the side of the individual whoever they are.
I have address and various phone numbers on my letters from KPMG but no e-mail address. The girl I met with a few weeks ago gave me her e-mail address but she has not even acknowledged the e-mail I sent her![:(!]
TDA is right on this in my view. The employee hasn't given permission to have their email address distributed to others. If it's publicly available as a point of contact for such issues on the company website which is visible to all then that's a different matter.
Best not to share
TDA this email address is already public , all you have to do is google KPMG Edinburgh and you will find the same email address on their web page, I have only entered it here to save peps time, so its already public ๐ I'm not putting anything here thats not already available ๐
Ih tda would be so kind as to re-instate the blair nimmo email address, as its already public, if not folks, just google kpmg edinburgh you will see his contact details there along with his photo ! remember when copy pasting end with
.co.uk as his address seems to have something about webmaster
