Hi
I need to fill out my expenses form for the first time and need some help please. Myself and my wife are tied into mobile phone contracts at £33 each a month can we add this to my expenses. I tried to get out of the contracts explaining my situation but was told no. Also as I am disabled I need to use my car for work and my monthly fuel bill is £240 per month. I looked at buses but because of my disability I need to use my car will they accept this amount. Without my car I would not be able to get to work so I am in a catch 22 situation. Any advice will be great
Thanks

Hi Needoutofthis

I wouldn't worry about these expenses, both my mobile and petrol expenses are higher than yours. All my trustee did was make a note of my daily mileage to work and back in case an objection was raised but it was ok. I did look at other options but public transport was not feasible and would have cost more. As for your mobile £33 pm doesnt sound too excessive for a contract phone.

Good luck
AlphaB

Hi Needoutofthis,

My mobile is about that and is included in my TD. Every expense I could think of I.E dry cleaning and dental I included.

Hi Needoutofthis and welcome.

I think AlphaB and Mercy2604 have answered your questions very well.

When you say you are filling out your expenses for the first time, do you mean that you are already in a trust deed and have reached your first review? Or are you considering entering a trust deed and trying to work out what you can afford?

Thank you all...this is my first review and I am just trying to complete it and finding it hard as we have 2 kids and trying to keep all this from them. Currently our food bill for the month is £550 and that includes pack lunches for all off us this is very hard as I am trying to look at ways I can cut costs.

Hi Needoutofthis.

Were the costs you mention in your first post included at the start of the trust deed?

As both myself and my wife are in a trust deed we both got sent an expenditure form to complete should we do this separate and split monthly costs or combined?

Just check with your trustee on that Needoutofthis.

I doubt that it will matter much either way.
