Hi
I was made redundant in July and have put a claim in for JSA (primarily so I don't miss NI contributions). I should get approx £70 per week while looking for a new job.
Do I need to declare this to my Trustee?

Thanks.

Domino

Yes you need to tell your trustee about any change in your circumstances. They cannot ask for a contribution from you from any benefits, though they are allowed to take it into account in determing what contribution you will have to make from any other income you are receiving.

Thanks for your response Kevin.
My Trustee knows I have been made redundant and has taken the payment given for period in lieu of notice leaving me with the statutory payment.
I will update them regards the JSA.

Thanks.
