Well I just checked my updated Noddle report this morning and lo and behold, another default has appeared! This time it's Grant Thornton IVA watch. The default is marked as active from January of this year. That'll be another one I'll be sending the form 5 off to. Anyone got any dealings with this mob? I'm so angry that they've added this default almost a year after I got discharged.

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

Hi Gillian,

Grant Thornoton at the IVA Wach represent a large number of creditors in insolvent procedures. As a firm of Chartered Accountants they know the score. I would imagine that they have been contacted by their clients to represent them but perhaps have not been advised of the up to date position. Should be simple to rectify by contacting them direct with the up to date position. Hey will in turn close things off and report back to their client. Perhaps something he Trustee may assist with?

Hi gillian.

On most occasions getting in touch with the source of the incorrect information on your credit file will result in it being updated.

contact (email address removed)

a very helpful lady indeed who sorted out a couple of my defaults within days of asking(egg debts that got transferred to Sarl, but were managed by GT). She even passed on my details to another department to sort out an egg loan we had as well that was incorrectly marked.

Hi gillian.

Can you let us know when you've seen the email address here?

In general we don't want to leave email addresses on here for too long as the address owners may start to receive some pretty odd emails from our spammy friends.

I never saw the email address so the nice lady is free from spam. I'll contact our own lovely TDA for details. Thanks Paul.

After a wee email to the address from Paul (via the lovely TDA(or is it TDAs), Grant Thornton have said they haven't received anything about my discharge from my trust deed. They've said they'll chase it up but I offered to send a copy of my form 5. They have apologised but it won't appear as amended until Aprils report. I'm okay with that but why add a default now? They've never appeared on my report until this month. Ho-hum, I can sense more letters having to be written.
