Hi, I'm new to your site, but have been reading through your forum for a while. My question is should you get an official form/document when you are discharged from your Trust deed. All my husband and I got was a letter saying a Form 11 had been lodged with the AIB, nothing since then, that was in April 2012. I have absolutely no faith in our Trust Deed Company as everything that could go wrong did and more so I'm wanting to make sure it is actually over. We lost our house (advised at start of trust deed we wouldn't) took 6 years to finally complete and as far as I can see the only person/people who benefited was the Trust Deed Company, their fees far outweighed what the creditors received from our payments etc. Sorry to waffle on just get so angry everytime I think about it. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Ang [:)]

Hi ang4142

From memory Form 11 was the trustee's account of realisation and this should signify the end of the Trust Deed for you both.

You could check the Register of Insolvencies in the AIB website just to make sure.

Hi Mark,

We did check the Register of Insolvencies it says date of Trustee's Discharge 22/04/2013 (sorry put 2012 in my last post) but there is no date next to debtors discharge

Hi ang4142

Your Trustee was signed under the old regulations, so don't worry, you are both discharged.
