You are right, it isn't true that all IPs will ask for a payment of ?ú500 to discharge their interest in a property with no equity, though I believe most do - it is a generally accepted practice.

Thanks Mark/Kevin, my Husband had a phonecall from Invocas today to say our paperwork is there and he's picking it up on Monday. What frightens me is that this is not what we were told at the home visit. I'm still shocked at how unscrupulous these middle men companies are - totally wrong!!!
I just hope that these posts may have prevented others from getting involved with companies such as these. It's so wrong.
