Hi andy,

I fear this is not going to be the answer that you want to hear.

The inheritance will almost certainly be used to clear the debts in full and also to cover the fees of your Trust Deed company on top of that.

This will bring the Trust Deed to an end and any surplus funds would be yours.

hiya TDA,
thanks for the reply.
i was thinking the same. fair enough, if i can pay the debts now i should. i was just wondering regarding the IP's fees etc. Would they take their fee from the 10 payments i have made already, plus maybe a bit too be added to it?

so i might be looking at being left with around 9k ish?

Hi andy,

Any payments that you have already made will count towards the repayment of the debts and the fees.

Without knowing how much your Trust Deed company intends to charge in fees, and how much you have been paying each month so far, it's difficult to provide any estimate of how much might be left for you.

Hi Andy

Your IP should be in a position to close the Trust Deed by paying all debts plus 8% interest on these plus his fees to date and a fee to close. I would assume therefore that the Trustee's fees would be reduced somewhat as he would not need to run the Trust Deed for 3 years.
