Hi, New to posting but have been reading for a while. I really need advice on TD as i have approached the bank for a loan recently and was declined.I have outstanding debts of approx 24K and have a surplus income of around ยฃ300/month. I have never missed any payments but I feel that i must act now before it gets worse if thats at all possible. I do not own my own property any more due to a relationship breakdown. Can you advise if the TD would be in my best interest?

Thanks

Hi fishingmad

If you have no assets, then from the information you have provided, the options would appear to be Trust Deed over a 3 year period or DAS over a 6-7 year period.

Thanks for info Mark. I drive for a living and have a company credit card for fuel purchase only. This bill goes to the company and i never see it but my name is on the card how would a TD affect this?

Hi fishingmad

If the agreement is with the company, I dont see it having any effect at all as it is not your responsibility.

Hi Fishingmad
welcome to the forum.
based on the information you have provided you could consider a Trust Deed, however its best to sit down with an adviser face to face and explore all options available.
The debt for the fuel falls with the employer.
