IÔÇÖm 8 months into a Protected Trust Deed.

IÔÇÖm considering moving overseas but would want to keep it going/maintain payments.

The move would not result in me having more income (if anything itÔÇÖd be less).

Is there any reason my PTC would be prohibitive to me moving abroad?

Thanks

Hi Bob

the simple answer is no, you should be able to work abroad if you wish.

I have 2 cases this year who went to Australia and New Zealand and they are running fine (must be the weather!)

You'll be fine as long as you keep your Trustee notified.

Thanks Mark, but just to clarify - I'd be moving overseas and marrying a foreign national and taking up permanent residence there, as opposed to just going over to work (eg, I may not even work for a good few months after going and I've no job lined up - but am confident I'll get one in good time). Just making sure there's no weird rules that disallows or penalises such things?
Cheers

There is nothing to stop you moving permanently as far as I am aware bob.

The key point with your Trust Deed is to handle this in a way that enables you to continue to meet your obligations.
