It is a shame the business efforts have not had better results, if she had used the equity in the house on flash cars and holidays when her credit was good she would have less risk of losing it. Doesn't seem to be an easy out for her.

Thanks Rock Bottom, she's distraught, worked all her days and just invested her money at the wrong time. I'm devastated for her.

Hi Stephanie

Sorry for the delay as I was out and about today. There are a couple of points here. If she transfers, then a Trustee could challenge this in a 5 year period should she look at a Trust Deed or Sequestration. Ideally if she had family etc who could remortgage then she could try and negotiate reduced figures for a full and final settlement with creditors.

I'm not sure if this helps any.
