How long does discharge take?

Hi All,

I made my final payment to my three year protected trust deed in May 2012.
I received my personal discharge in September 2012. I've now been waiting a year to get the full thing totally discharged.
How long is reasonable to wait?
Everytime I speak to KPMG (the Trust Deed Trustees) I feel like I just get fobbed off with some other answer about PPI.
Surely there is only so long they can go on without fully closing it?
Is there someone I can speak to (an Ombudsman?)if I am not happy with the way my case is being handled?

I just want to move on!

Thanks

Hi Lisa

Once all matters have been completed ie contributions ingathered, PPI dealt with then closing should take 3-4 weeks. I'm surprised at the length of time it has taken to be honest as even the PPI issues don't take a year to sort.

Hi Lisamacl.
