My wife and i both have trust deeds which still have another 18 months to go. We have been seperated for most of that time and are in the process of a divorce. She cannot afford to stay in the house now and neither can i. What are the options in reltion to selling/trust deed etc. I believe there is little or no equity in the property.

Hi stevie0398.

I doubt there will be any problem with disposing of the house one way or another. I think it will be best to contact your trust deed company and ask them for their input on how to go about this.

Hi stevie0398

Very generally, the options are to put it on the Market & give any profit from sale the the Trustee or hand the keys to the Trustee to deal with.
