I received my form 5 6 weeks ago and defaults on my credit report are starting to be changed to satisfied or partially satisfied. I currently have a mortgage which I have never missed a payment on but we now desperate for a bigger house as my stepdaughter is moving in with us. Has anyone been able to secure a mortgage on a new property soon after discharge? I will have a 20% deposit and will be looking for a joint mortgage with my husband who has no credit problems.

I think it will be difficult, although the deposit will certainly assist.
I think there was a post earlier about seeking out a mortgage broker who will check all lenders.
