Was getting quotes for my contents insurance and got a really good price from Swinton.

Called to double check that they would accept me because of the TD and they said because it isn't bankruptcy or bankruptcy proceedings they would cover me!

Just thought I'd share in case anyone needs a good deal [:D]

Well done. It's always good when something works out, especially with insurance companies!!

It seems to be a little hit and miss with insurers.

It's good that the subject has come up again here though. People that are formally insolvent should take some care to ensure the small print of their policies will not exclude them from making a claim. It's a while since that's been mentioned here.
