Hi to everybody at Scottish trust Deed forum.
I'm a newbie and would like to ask a question or two regarding trust deeds.

I am struggling with card payments mainly due to the way some of the card companies have changed their payment structure and also because of the rise in interest rates since I first took a credit card on.

I've been going over some of the rules about trust deeds and I'm concerned that I already have a holiday abroad booked for the month of May this year, paid for by my family for me.
As far as I am led to believe, you cannot go on holiday abroad if you take out a td. How do I stand here?

You can go anywhere you like if someone else is paying for it,in fact you could go abroad and pay for it yourself if you could save up enough cash!!!

A TD does not prevent a foreign holiday(makes it flippin hard to save up for though).

Hi dollydimple.

Plasticdaft is right. If you start a trust deed your living budget will be restricted so that creditors get a fair return on what is owed to them. That doesn't mean that you cannot travel though, there are no restrictions on that at all.
