I would think they they have said they can to try and reduce the number of calls you are making but would think it would be highly unlikely that they would actually have grounds to terminate the trust deed because you have called to many times. I would suggest that rather than calling to double check all the time write a letter to them expressing all your concerns and ask them to respond in letter, if you have it in writing you won't need to keep checking if things are in order. Reduced payments can lead to an extenstion in the total number of payments you make, the normal is 36 payments and they may add some payments at the end of the trust deed to recoupe the reduction whilst on maternity leave, from what i have read on here its not alway the case but the best advice given over and over again is to get everything in writing and that way you have it for future reference. As i said earlier write a letter with every concern in it and get a written reply and if it helps explain that your just worried and with a written response this should end the need for continual calls.

Hi both

Gemgem, very well put.

Bailey, I'm unsure why you are calling them as they advised that you can reduce the payments for the maternity period. Any shortfall could be picked up at the end.
