thanks for that!!! its just i got a letter saying that my trust deed company got in touch with my mortgage company . But i gave them a redemption letter from my mortgage company at the start of the trustdeed to say how much i owed on it .. And the letter says that we have been paying to much intrest on the mortgage and they are wanting the over payment to go in to my trust deed thats no problem with that .. But whats getting me is why they needed to get in touch with them in the first place when they had all the info in the first place !!! And any extra money that went in would have shown on my statements anyway thanks

Hi Betty was it definitely a redemption letter that you gave to your Trustee or was it a mortgage statement?

Hi Betty

If that is the case, I'm not sure why the Trustee would need to get in touch with your mortage company.

I don't think this makes any difference to you in terms of renting out your house betty, so hopefully everything will go ahead as you hope.

Hi TDA still with them at the minute !!! i tried to open a account with citi bank as i see a couple of post with other comments saying people had opened with out any problem.... but i got a letter from them saying that they would not be offering me one at the momment due to the report they got from expedia, to retry in 6 months time "" so will have to keep trying

other question i have is i am getting some back pay from last year which should have been a payrise this is around £600.00 will i have to give this all over to the trust deed or will they let me keep some of it. As this would not have looked as big as it is now if it had been given to me in small amounts over the year and with all the price increases that have gone up, what ever i got more in my wages would have covered that if you get my drift !!!!!

Hi betty,

I hadn't really heard of Citi being used as an basic bank account option, though maybe I've missed something here on the forum.

I do hear what you are saying about inflation. Prices of many essentials have gone up a lot recently. I would however suggest notifying your trust deed company about this extra payment as soon as possible so that they can let you know where you stand. As it's neither a bonus nor overtime I think there's some possibility that all of it will need to be paid over to help repay your creditors I'm afraid (though I hope I'm wrong).

Hi Betty

If you had received your payrise last year you may have been asked to pay an increased contribution. Let your Trustee know when you should have received your increase and over how many months the lump sum you are about to receive should have been paid. Hopefully your Trustee will let you keep some of the funds, however there is no guarantee as the funds aren't overtime or a bonus.

Julie

Hi betty.

Best to run this past your Trustee when you have the payslip and final figures I think.
