We are up in the north east and having trouble finding a solicitor in our area doing trust deeds can anyone help us find one ???.
A company in the glasgow area wanted ?ú100 up front, is this normal for setting up a trust deed ???.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi dode1

it is very rare for solicitors to do Trust Deeds, you would need to contact an Insolvency Practitioner firm.

Kevin, ourselves and several Other firms have offices up North, so hopefully it shouldn't be a problem.

You are correct re the ?ú100 nonsense, avoid these companies at all costs.

Hi dode1,

As Mark says there is simply no need to pay that sort of upfront fee. Our recommended experts and many other firms will handle a Trust Deed for you without you paying that sort of charge.
