As it happens we do have an office in Lerwick, Keith, if you would prefer to deal with a firm where you can more easily visit an office.

We don't have a personal insolvency specialist based there, so the initial advice part would be over the phone with me, but it does make it easier in terms of signing up paperwork and exhibiting ID/other documents rather than having to get independent witnesses signing things off etc.

And of course it is no problem for me to speak in the evening either if that suits you best.

Just thought I'd mention it!

Thanks Kevin and David, I will be speaking to both of you soon. The next step is to do my sums to see where we are exactly. Then I'll get in touch
Thanks Keith

No problem Keith. As we say, it's always best to speak with a couple of advisors to get a feeling for things.

I look forward to speaking with you.

I'm a little bit confused, as I clicked the contact David and Kevin buttons, but got a reply from the same chap for both of you saying that I would need to speak to him first and he is only available until 7 in the evening.
I don't have a problem speaking to him, I need to speak to someone that's a certainty, I'm just confused.

Hi afc1903.

Sometimes my colleagues in the site's advice team get in touch with enquirers first. They're all qualified debt advisers.

Assuming that a trust deed makes sense and you want to proceed Kevin or David can take things forward from there if you wish.

The team's available between 9am and 7pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 5:30pm on Fridays.
