Hi

I have been on a trust deed for a year and a half now. I have lived with my partner in this time and recently got married. As such my relationship status has changed but financial situation has not, as we have not joint finances. Do I have to inform my trustee?

Thanks

Welcome to the trust deed forum mcreid.

Congratulations on your marriage. I cannot see any need to notify your Trustee about your marriage unless it has led to a change in your financial circumstances.

This might apply, for example, if you had lived apart previously but then moved in together.

Hi mcreid

TDA is correct, there is no real need to notify if the financial situation is unchanged.
