Hi ali465,
Well done on taking the hardest step which is to seek advice.
Can you give us a quick summary of your situation i.e. level of debts, employment status and if you have any assets i.e. your own house, car etc.
There are a number of options available to deal with your debts which range from a Trust Deed, a Debt Arrangement Scheme and Sequestration.
When considering an option to deal with your debts, you want to make sure that you get everything in writing at the very outset and to have a face to face meeting with an advisor. Whilst this is not something that is essential, I prefer when meeting clients and explaining their options to do it face to face.
You want confirmation of what your contribution will be, how long this will be for and the situation with any possible pay rise, bonuses from work etc.
You also want confirmation of how any assets you have i.e. house, car, shares, policies etc will be dealt with. Most important thing is if you have a property to verify the level of equity prior to proceeding with any option and make sure you get it in writing with regards to how that will be dealt with.
Ask loads of questions of an advisor and don't be shy in doing so. You should proceed with the company and advisor that you feel most comfortable with.

Hello ali465 and welcome.
From the perspective of the site we only really comment on the firms we choose to recommend here (represented in the forum by Mark, Kevin, Rob and David).
As many regular forum visitors will have read me say before, we don't say that they're the only good firms out there (there certainly are others) but a great many visitors to this website over the years have been very positive about them.
If you look towards the top of this page you'll see a "search" function. You could use that to see what people have written about their own experiences with various firms over the years. Not scientific, but a fairly large body of thought has built up over time that you may or may not find useful.
Who else did you speak to about your options?

A new dawn.
Dear ali465
Welcome to the forum.
Other posters are quite right in that you have to be happy with your choice of firm and it is difficult making a decision on which firm to handle your Trust Deed.
Independent review site Feefo.com has over 270 reviews from Wilson Andrews customers and you can see them by going direct to their website and searching for us under the supplier section.
Comments from customers are displayed as written and reviews are from Trust Deed and DAS customers.
I hope you find the information helpful.
