I am 8 months away from the end of my trust deed and i am trying not to worry about
what will happen after it, as i will still no doubt have to sell my home to release funds.
however my question today is, i have just gone self employed and although earning less this month than i did whilst employed, and i am sincerely hoping this will not be the case for the month after and onwards.
I have emailed my Trust Deed company way back in Nov to ask their advice however they have not replied, despite 3 reminders to them.
can you tell me, do i need to formally inform them of my new self employed status? As i have not had an answer from them, i assume i am not breaking any rule within my trust deed by going self employed?
Hi goshnearlythere
No there is no issue with you being self employed.
Theres an obligation to update your Trustee and if you can show this has been done, then there should be no issues.
All the best for the future
