Hi, seriously can't believe we thought it could be straight forward!!!!! Having struggled bigtime for last 5 years, in PTD for 39 months which was due to end in March 2013 my husband and I dared to think about getting our lives back on track and having a life again!!!! But no!!!!! Apparently my PTD is to be extended by 3 months because I received two credits of £200 each into my bank, first in Nov 2010 second Nov 2011, both in lieu of Christmas gifts from my late mother in law to my daughter and ourselves, also, the value of my car has miraculously increased by over £300 despite it being almost 10 yrs old, in very poor condition and was declared as having no realisation value in original TD papers!!!!! My husbands PTD is also to be extended as he has been told he is in arrears, firstly of over £2000 which has since been reduced to £1200 as a credit of £800 into his bank was shown never to have existed!!!!!! Whats going on????? We have been the subject of 6 monthly reviews for the past 3 years and have provided all we could, my husbands salary has always varied greatly due to the huge amount of overtime he does to try and make a liveable wage, we have never until now requested a review of our expences as we simply wanted to keep our heads down, minimise the stress and get it done, we received regular updates following our reviews to say all was fine and contributions were tweaked slightly. I'm rambling now but my point is why were we never advised after a review that we were falling into arrears dating back to 2010 due to a Xmas gift or that his contribution should be changed??? We have written to the company involved twice prior to Xmas hols and am due to write again due to no response, beginning to feel like the proverbial cash cow they just want to suck everything out of!!!!!
What a nightmare. What company are you with. Can you not go to their office if they refuse to answer your query. We too end our TD with invocas this year. Like you we have been told there is no interest in our car and sent in every review as requested and paid each month on time. I dread something like this happening when you think the end is in sight. Good luck.
Sounds like poor service. Which firm are you with?
