Im looking for some advice, I entered a trust deed back in April 2007, I was discharged back in June 2010. I have all the paperwork confirming entering and my discharge.

However i have every six months or so get a Credit Card statement from Bank of Scotland chasing payment. I have called them every time but they wont stop them.

Any advise on how to get this stopped.

Hi Zebade

On a positive note they can do nothing at all, but it must be irritating.

Probably best to send a copy of the Trust Deed with a strong letter mentioning harassment to see if that works.

Hi zebade
Have you checked your credit file? Does the Bank of Scotland account show as settled or satisfied, account closed?

I'm in the process of getting my credit file cleaned up after my TD discharged June 2011 and BoS are one of 4 that still haven't updated my file so still shows as default when it should say closed, settled or satisfied.

I spoke to FSA and on TDA advice on the forum also Information Commission and on the back of that have just sent off 4 very strongly worded letters quoting FSA and Info Community to those extra creditors who haven't updated saying they are in violation of data protection laws, that was advice from info commission, I've enclosed copies of TD discharge letters too.

I've asked they update within 28 days....will see what response I get! Fingers crossed.

You could maybe do the same? Iwill post update when I hear back
