Hi all

I completed my trust deed in April 2012 and on 22nd May 2012 I received my discharge (form 5)

I have signed up with Experian and notice that some companies still have outstanding balances

Some show DEFAULT SATISFIED
Some show DEFAULT ยฃxxxxxx

is this right ?

Also I`ve noticed a few folk saying that the trustee has to be discharged too ?

Last Q is around PPI........... I had a loan(s) prior to the trust deed that where paid off, can I claim from them ?

Thanks

Last question first ,No,any ppi you are entitled to will be chased up by your trustee(and any amounts reclaimed will go to creditors) who will most likely remain in office for a few months yet.

Until your trustee is discharged I wouldnt worry too much what the credit files say, some of mine say satisfied and some do not.

Paul

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.

Welcome to the forum scousemouse.

Your trustee may also be discharged, I'd suggest you give them a quick call to check on this.

If they aren't, it may be that they're looking to make PPI claims to help boost the funds repayable to your creditors. That may mean you cannot claim against that paid-off loan if they already are.

If they are discharged you can try to claim that PPI if it was missold.

You want your accounts to show as "satisfied" or "partially satisfied". There's much more background to this at:

That all sounds like good news for you scousemouse. They're just completing the admin processes required.
