Hi has anyone ever applied for funding towards an open university course. I was considering applying for an ILA grant towards my course fee which starts in October, My final T.D payment is in July this year. What impact would this have on a my T.D if by October I was still not discharged.

Hi sparky1.
I doubt this would make any difference to your trust deed so long as you've completed all of your obligations.
As with all of these things, it might be a good idea to run it by your trustee to be sure.

It would be pretty harsh for a trustee to claim an interest in any funding obtained. But as we've all learned from the forum, its certainly no beyond the realms of possibility!
Always best to double check.
