Evening all,

So I received form 5 back in April:

Date when statement of realisation and distribution received
30/04/2018

Trustee Discharge Date
13/04/2018

Debtor Discharge Date
10/04/2018

should I be expecting some other forms after I received my discharge certificate? If yes how soon after form 5 has been sent to me?

Thanks

Hi TD2013.

You're all done. Both you and your trustee have been discharged from the trust deed.

Is there any more information you're hoping to receive?

Hi np785641d.

It varies greatly by firm.

It also depends upon how busy a firm is at that time.

There is no standard or target.

For you, it's a question be put to your trustee to see how long they'd usually take.

As TDA has advised TD2013 you are completely finished with your Trust Deed. Well done. If you didn’t receive your Form 5 then give them a call.

Np785641d, discharges can vary from firm to firm. Give your firm a call and ask them what their procedure is for this and how long it will take.

Congratulations td2013 - Seems like your trust deed has been closed. You would have received a form 6 for information purposes. That is the trustee appeal for his/her discharge.

Hi. Thank for all your replies.

np785641d I was with Creditfix. My last payment was end of October 2017 (my TD was signed in Dec 2013 however due to few payment breaks they have added 3 months, even tho I ended up repaying it in one go with my last payment) they said they wouldn’t discharge me until end of Feb. Had to chase them up for about a month in March as I was anxious to get imy certificate to finally put it all behind me. I’m sure you will be too so good luck with everything, not long now 🙂

TDA, people have been mentioning forms 4, 6 and 7 and I haven’t received either of them and wasn’t sure if these were important or not?

I don't think they're important to you TD2013.

Form 5 (your discharge) is the big one.

As others have said, the timescale will vary between different firms. I think most would arrange your discharge much sooner than 6 months after your payments are completed however.
