I just got my form 5 through the post. It would seem that's it all over and I wasn't expecting to be discharged until april-ish.

Thanks for all the advice I got over the course of my trust deed. It's went quite quickly and it would seem that if you keep communicating with your trustee, it works. I was with Invocas and although they haven't had the best press, I never had any issues that weren't solved with a phonecall or email.

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

Fantastic news gillian.

I'm really pleased to hear that this has all been sorted out ahead of the time you expected.

Great advice about maintaining good lines of communication by the way.

Ah, if only I could have a glass of wine, I have the worst allergies. Alcohol and caffeine. No wine, chocolate or other nice treat things. I shall treat myself to cake.

I remember being in one of the offices at Invocas, crying my eyes out and feeling totally ashamed of my situation. I know now there should be no shame in needing help. Yes I was stupid but getting help was the only way forward. Now I can save, buy things through the month without going through a cost analysis.

Congratulations Gillian! Just like Plasticdaft, you can now look forward to financial freedom. But your advice on this forum will always be appreciated so don't be a stranger now (said in cheesy American accent!)

Hi Gillian

Well done. It is my favourite kind of post. One where they have entered an agreement and it has worked out and you come out the other end.

Pity about the wine and chocolate thing. That would have my wife roarin and greetin'

Well done and please do forget us.

Mark

Well done Gillian, we got ours today too. Maybe I could have 2 glasses of wine and dedicate one to you. I know what you mean about that 1st meeting and feeling ashamed but I now feel proud we actually got there in the end xx

If you could make that a bottle of wine and a huge bar of chocolate, you might get close to how much I want to celebrate[:D].
