Hi. Well after the longest 4 years of my life I received through today my form 5!!
I just want to thank the contributors on here as when I have been really stressed I have sought advice and been given this.
Now that I have my form 5 - is it over?
I checked AIB and the discharge date is showing there too.
What are my next steps??
Thank you all again. Sx

Hello Indebt999.

Well that time has passed quickly! Congratulations to you on completing your trust deed.

Yes - you're discharged. Your trustee will still have some work to do but that needn't hold you back.

Is your credit file and ability to obtain credit important to you?

Hi Indebt999,

Well done on successfully completing your Trust Deed and receiving your Form 5.

I suppose the next thing to consider is your credit rating. The important thing here is to ensure that your credit report is accurate and up to date with any defaults etc.

It may not be something which is important to you now but in the future it could be.

I would give it a month or two and then check your credit report. From this you can receive advice and help on the forum of what you should do.

Just enjoy the next couple of months of being debt free with no Trust Deed payment to make.

Congratulations on your discharge Indebt999. As David says, maybe give it a couple of months to allow your creditors time to update your credit file.

Thank you for your replies. Credit file is important but will work away at it slow and steady. Next is to get a car. Have been without one for almost 4 years!
Thank you again for all your help and support especially at the beginning.
